MDSteps Campus

The plan + visibility layer for your program.

Students keep the adaptive QBank, CCS runner, and readiness dashboard. Faculty get program-level rollups, early flags, and curriculum-aligned templates without writing new content.

  • Cohort & faculty dashboard for mastery trends, pacing, weak systems, and adherence.
  • Block and clerkship templates that can be assigned in minutes and edited by your program.
  • Automated remediation through missed-item decks, cheat sheets, and next-day review targets.
What about UWorld or AMBOSS?
Keep them. MDSteps schedules and targets practice, converts mistakes into review, and surfaces cohort-level insight those tools do not expose.

Integrations & Compliance

Easy to adopt. Secure by design.

We meet common higher-ed requirements out of the box and can pilot with manual invites while IT finalizes SSO.

  • SSO / LTI 1.3 for Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, and Moodle.
  • FERPA statement, HECVAT-Light, and DPA available.
  • WCAG 2.1 AA alignment and VPAT summary on file.
  • No PHI required; reports default to de-identified aggregates.
How fast can we pilot?
Same week. We can provision by cohort and upgrade to SSO/LTI when IT approves.
What data do you store?
Roster, assignments, activity signals, scores, and remediation artifacts. No PHI.

8–12 Week Pilot

A low-lift pilot with clear success criteria.

Stand up a single cohort with weekly rollups and an outcomes readout. Faculty do not need to build content or manually triage every student.

  • Target 40–80 students for a first cohort.
  • Track weekly active usage, adherence, mastery, NBME delta, and at-risk movement.
  • Credit pilot fee toward a broader license when your program expands.

Institutional FAQs

Common questions before a pilot.

How does MDSteps Campus work with UWorld or AMBOSS?

We complement, not replace, your existing resources. MDSteps Campus schedules work, converts misses into review, and surfaces cohort analytics and early risk flags for faculty.

What integrations are available?

SSO through SAML/OAuth and LTI 1.3 deep links for Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, and Moodle. We can start with manual invites while IT completes SSO.

What data do you store? Are you FERPA aligned?

We store student account and performance data necessary to provide analytics. We provide a FERPA statement, HECVAT-Light, DPA, and data deletion support on request. Reports default to de-identified aggregates.

What does a pilot include?

An 8–12 week pilot can include onboarding, cohort dashboard, weekly rollups, and an outcomes readout. Pilot fees, if any, can be credited toward a broader license.

Do faculty need to author content?

No. Use MDSteps block templates and adaptive targeting. Faculty can optionally assign custom blocks or adjust pacing.

What about accessibility?

MDSteps aligns to WCAG 2.1 AA and can provide a VPAT summary upon request.
